🔐[Private] Signs

[Private] signs allow you to protect your containers and builds from unwanted access. Use them on chests, barrels, doors, trapdoors, fence gates, furnaces, and more. No complicated setup required—just place a sign!

🔐 How to Create a [Private] Sign

1. Hold a sign in your hand.

2. Right-click the block you want to protect (e.g., a chest).

3. The sign will auto-fill with:

   • Line 1: [Private]

   • Line 2: Your username

Want to place a normal sign instead?
Hold Shift and right-click to place it without enabling protection.

⚙️ Optional Sign Tags

• [Redstone] – Allows hoppers to access the container and redstone to open doors.

• [Timer:X] – Doors will automatically close after X seconds (X must be 0–9).

• [Everyone] – Grants access to all players while maintaining protection from edits or removal.

👥 How to Add Other Players

To share access with others, you’ll need to manually create the sign using the editor:

1. Crouch (hold Shift) and place the sign.

2. Fill in the lines as follows:

   • Line 1: [Private]

   • Line 2: Your username

   • Line 3: Friend’s username

   • Line 4: (Optional) Another player’s username

You can grant access to up to two additional players.

🧹 Removing a [Private] Sign

To remove the protection:

• Break the sign

• Or remove the [Private] tag from Line 1

Once removed, the block will be accessible to everyone.
