⬆️Elevator Signs
Elevator signs offer a simple and efficient way to move between different Y levels in your builds—no redstone required! All it takes is two wooden signs and a bit of clever placement.
Place a wooden sign with the following on Line 1:[Elevator]
Place a second sign directly above or below the first one (on the same X and Z coordinates), also with [Elevator]
on the first line.
Once both signs are placed, you’ll be able to teleport between them.
⬆️ Right-click the sign to go up
⬇️ Shift + right-click the sign to go down
Optional:
If you want players to teleport in front of the sign (instead of staying in the same X and Z position), place[*]
on Line 2 of the sign.
You can add color to your Elevator signs!
Just include a color code before [Elevator]
.
For example:&6[Elevator]
– Displays the text in gold
Anyone can create and use Elevator signs—including other players visiting your base. Elevators are a public utility unless restricted by other protections.
To remove or disable an Elevator sign, you can:
Delete the [Elevator]
text from the sign
Or break the sign entirely
🔒 Want to protect your sign from edits?
Right-click the sign with honeycomb to wax it and prevent editing.
If you see this message, your elevator isn’t detecting a valid partner sign. Here's what to check:
Make sure both signs are placed on the exact same X and Z coordinates
Ensure there’s enough space for teleportation—at least a 3x3 area around each sign is recommended
